These terms govern each qualified lead purchased through ADUBuilderConnect and supplement the Contractor Marketplace Agreement.
1. What you are buying
You are purchasing authorized access to contact information associated with a specific homeowner project request made available to your account. You are not purchasing a guaranteed appointment, exclusive customer, signed contract, construction project, revenue outcome, or verified property feasibility.
2. Lead preview
Before purchase, the portal may show project category, ZIP code, city, project type, budget range, timeline, and price. Homeowner contact information is intentionally withheld until authorized purchase or release.
3. Pricing
Standard opportunities are generally priced within the range displayed by the marketplace, and higher-budget opportunities may carry a higher fee. The specific price shown at checkout controls. We may change prices prospectively and may test pricing, discounts, credits, or promotions.
4. Payment authorization
By selecting “Unlock contact” or completing checkout, you authorize the displayed one-time charge. Payment processing is handled by Stripe or another designated processor. Taxes may be added where applicable.
5. No exclusivity unless expressly stated
Unless the lead preview expressly says “exclusive,” a project may be offered to multiple eligible professionals. The number of professionals, timing, and availability can vary. Subscription status does not create exclusivity.
6. Limited invalid-lead credit policy
Subject to review, we may issue a marketplace credit—not necessarily a cash refund—when a claim is submitted within 5 calendar days of purchase and we reasonably verify that: (a) the contact information was materially invalid at the time of delivery; (b) the lead was a confirmed duplicate previously sold to the same Partner for the same project; (c) the project ZIP was outside the Partner’s saved coverage at the time the lead was offered due solely to a platform routing error; or (d) the submission was demonstrably fraudulent and not a genuine homeowner inquiry.
7. Non-credit situations
Credits are ordinarily not available because a homeowner does not answer, changes their mind, chooses another contractor, has insufficient budget or financing, delays a project, does not own the property, cannot obtain a permit, provides an inaccurate budget, already spoke with another contractor, requests a different scope, is difficult to schedule, or does not sign a contract. These are ordinary sales and project risks.
8. Credit request evidence
A credit request must identify the lead, explain the issue, and provide reasonable supporting information without harassment or excessive collection of homeowner data. We may contact the homeowner or review system records to validate the claim.
9. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, Partner agrees to contact billing support and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension, collection activity, or termination, without limiting rights available under payment-network rules or law.
10. Contact and communication rules
Purchase does not grant unlimited marketing rights. Contact the homeowner only about the purchased project and closely related requested services. Honor STOP, unsubscribe, do-not-call, and other revocation requests promptly. Do not use purchased data for unrelated lists or automated campaigns without independently satisfying all legal requirements.
11. Data retention
Retain homeowner information only as long as reasonably necessary for the project opportunity, customer relationship if one is formed, compliance, accounting, or legal claims. Securely delete or de-identify data when no longer needed.
12. Marketplace discretion
We may pause offers, change eligibility, cap purchases, investigate patterns, or suspend accounts to protect homeowners, prevent fraud, maintain marketplace quality, or comply with law.
13. Finality
Except for the limited credit process above, an express written refund promise, or rights that cannot be waived by law, purchases are final after contact information is unlocked.
